... Like what you see so far? [ It's okay, Damien. When he returned home, it was like everything was new but not at the same time. Things did change though. ]

This place is usually safe, so it's nice to walk around outside and see everything.

Sometimes. I like visiting the Butterfly Pavilion sometimes. It's pretty calming since it's connected to the forest.

Anything special where you live? [ He's sure there must be other things over there. Probably more interesting things. ]

[ He thinks that if it's connected to the forest, it must be pretty huge. He starts to ponder on what's so great about the place that he lives in. ]

I don't think there's anything fun where I live.

Really? Not even one thing? [ He raises his eyebrows. Most people are usually either spiteful about their home or engrossed... ]

Maybe it's because you're so used to it, it's not a big deal. [ And the bus stops. Cameron will lead Damien out now while saying bye to everyone on the bus. ]

No... there really isn't anything fun. If you want to have fun, you have to make things fun. There aren't any places there that help with that.

[ He's trying not to be so cynical, because he thinks that he's stating the facts. Rather opinionated facts, but thinks that the majority could agree on. ]

I don't think it's because I'm used to it.

Really? That's a shame... [ Here he thought maybe he would visit and there would be a bunch of things to see.

But look at the park!! It has the architecture of old, but it has been preserved well. There's map showing several attractions such as gardens, museums, science center,pavillions, and more. ]

Have an idea where you want to go first?

Garden! I wanna see the garden. I wonder if it has more plants than my caretaker's.

The garden is beyond the koi pond. [ He points towards the direction before leading--

it isn't really a pond, bu literally a large lake in the shape of a rectangle that leads towards the garden which has the exterior of a bird cage with two large wing corridors. ]

A lot of baby koi this year...

Baby koi? The fish? Did the eggs hatch recently? [ Damien doesn't make a beeline for the garden, but takes his time to appreciate the lake and the fish that reside within it. ]

[ You can also see turtles and tadpoles in the pond, little Damien. Cameron shrugs. ]

Probably. It hasn't been too cold lately, so I guess it isn't that surprising.

Do they hatch a lot at a time? Or only a little?

[ Oh, he thinks there's a little turtle coming this way. He doesn't extend his hand to it, and only watches from where he is. ]

I'm not an expert in fish, but I don't usually see a bunch of baby koi... So I guess they have seasons. [ He, too, sees the turtle...

He kind of wants to stack things onto its shell, but digresses. His status as an adult isn't the only thing that keeps him at bay, it's also the fact there is a duck that suddenly lands on the turtle and quacks loudly. ]

[ Damien looks intrigued with the duck that lands on the turtle and wonders if the turtle can still move. He stares at the turtle with expectations.

WILL IT OR WON'T IT?! ]

[ The turtle moves one step and Cameron only blinks. Of course, he's technically watching Damien watch the turtle/duck.

This is like a documentary he thinks, but he keeps that to himself. ]

[ The documentary of boy meets turtle; duck comes to intervene. What will happen to them?! Stick around for the next--no, that sounds like a drama instead. ]

... It's not heavy for the turtle?

Are you calling the duck fat? [ That's all that comes to mind for Cameron...

This drama is too good to end. ]

No, but there's a limit as to how much we can all carry at once, so...

[ On second thought, Damien looks at the duck.

I think the turtle is fine. [ the turtle is waddling back into the pond with the duck on its shell. ]

There are sometimes ducklings around too.

We shouldn't pick them up, right? Because animals would get human smell on them and that's bad.

[ At least that's what he heard anyway. ]

... What? [ FISJLKSF He knows it's dangerous for the most part, but he has never had it explained like that.

Is that true...? Is mostly what he's wondering. Sure, it makes sense for some animals... ]

I didn't know ducks have that keen smell.

Do they? I mean... they don't always show it outright, but it can sometimes be true for other animals...

I guess we'll never know till we can be ducks ourselves. [ he wonders what kind of life that would be...

Okay, back to the garden. ]

[ Damien tries to think about it, but he hits a rut. He eyes the garden... sounds like a good idea to transition now. He stands up properly and goes to toddle towards the garden now. ]

[ There's a nice gates that opens to a literal foliage auditorium-like area. There are even butterflies inside though not that many. The ceiling is also quite high, but are laced with vines. ]

Most of the time this place is a little humid.
