[ In a forest a bit away from Eumelia, the occasional passerby would hear a melody—a song. It's entrancing at the very least, but there's a rumor among the common people who pass by: a witch lives in the forest. They believe that she casts a spell on the people she ensnares with her song, so most are encouraged to run away as soon as they hear it. However, there are sometimes the curious kinds of people and it draws them closer to the source...

If one strained their ears, the lyrics can be heard. Sometimes it is contradictory to the melody—a dissonance of an upbeat tone but sad lyrics. The songs that are heard within the forest never sounds cheery or happy if you actually stick around to listen.

[ His eyes sharpen a bit at that yet he remains silence. Yes, he is trying to find a way up, but he doesn't want to admit to it... In a way, he caught himself doing the opposite of what he wanted--bringing her hopes up. At the same time while he didn't want to stir anymore trouble, he's curious... What is it like up there?

How did she even get stuck? Such things were never recorded and so forth had no credibility. He inquisitively shifted a bit in place, not looking at her...

But we all know the true answer is apparent. ]

[ She feels like she understands him a little--or at least how he works. With the silence lingering in the smile, her smile doesn't falter and she goes back in the tower for a moment.

She comes back out with what appears to be... a long black rope? It might be kind of hard to tell from where Ciaran is, but she ties a strong knot on the guard rail of the balcony and lets it out. It nearly touches the floor, but upon lowering, it's... obviously hair.

Rapunzel, indeed. ]

[ Holy... crap. He's not sure if he should be spooked out or concerned that a young lady would dare leave her hair growing in such a wild fashion--let alone the fact that... She has so much hair. He shouldn't be too picky though, this was a way up, but at the same time this was what he was imagining as he signals Isabelle to stay here through sign language and reaching toward what one could say a hair rope.

If he starts climbing, wouldn't she just fly out of the window? She didn't look like she weighed much at all.

Anyway, he gives it a couple of tugs to make sure it's secure. ]

How unruly.

[ It's pretty much tied to the balcony so that she wouldn't be affected by him climbing up. It seems pretty secure when he tugs on it though. ]

Braiding it would have taken forever, you know.

[elresin]

I'm sure you would have the time to if you're stuck up there. [ He tugs it a bit once more before securely placing his foot against the tower. It would be more efficient if he were to climb it this way, but what he would do for a gryphon right now. Looking back up, he tries to tell himself that it isn't that far of a climb and starts out slowly...

Before, yeah, no, he's still going pretty slowly since what's climbing very quickly. In at least five minutes he has passed over a good amount, but not exactly halfway.

Why do people do this? ]

But I'm sure you wouldn't. Besides, you just said that you didn't, so...

[ But she giggles again. ]

[ That gets the twitch of an eyebrow. ]

Don't rush me. [ WHAT IF HE FUCKING FALLS? GODDAMN. Unfortunately, he feels pressured enough to actually walk up the tower in a fast pace... But his footing almost slipped--damnit, he needs more practice.

This is horrendous. ]

[ Horrendous, indeed. She just watches Ciaran from the the top, humming as she waits... Music involving melodies are nice, aren't they? People wouldn't suspect a thing at all! ... Except paranoid parrots, but how would they live in a society like this?? ]

[ they would die from paranoia if they lived in eumelia--but he finally reaches the top--well, he finally got a hold of the balcony's railing. He's a little tense, but he jumps over into the actual balcony rather than hanging off like a victim of suicide.

He sighs and his shoulders relax a bit. ]

[ But then he catches a glimpse of her heavenly abode and notices the large amounts of empty conditioner bottles. ]

... How could you possibly live in here?! [ ATROCIOUS. ]

[ After some effort into untying his hair from the balcony, she heaves the mass of hair into her... living space. It kind of looks like some black cone, but whatever. ]

Magic. [ She rolls her eyes, but she giggles after breaking out into a smile. ]

Don't mind the mess... I go through a lot of bottles per week. You can just kick the empty bottles aside.

[elresin]

[ He's just... so jaded right now. It's so different from actually seeing it yourself and he's just... speechless! She basically has long black tentacles stuck to her head. He saw that eyeroll, how dare you.

He crosses his hands in front of his chest and lifts his head as a way to show prestige and superiority (because we know how he is). ]

Shouldn't magic do wonders on that hair of yours? Compared to these... bottles. [ There are too many. He feels the need to organize and throw them away. ]

[witchrapunzel]

[ Wow. Rude, Princey!! She does not have tentacles for hair!! She can't even will it to move around on her own (yet). ]

A guy like you wouldn't be able to understand how a girl cares for their hair!! [ And a small HMPH. ] Actually doing it for yourself is a lot different than just automatically giving it sleek and shine with magic!

... Please elaborate. [ He's serious because this is a great offense! He believes perhaps if he understood, he could see how this is actually efficient and necessary for women...

Or just in general? He knows someone that is male that cares for their hair. Is that different? He's not even sure. ]

No. [ HAHA. ] I'll only tell you after your fifth visit!

[ He is a prince, he usually gets what he wants and has his way with almost everything. Tough he has been conditioned to act accordingly in most cases... ]

[ SHE SAID NO. WOW, THAT'S SUPER RUDE. YOU DENY HIM KNOWLEDGE AND THIS IS THEIR FIRST MEETING.

AND SHE KNOWS THAT HE IS ROYALTY. He can't even excuse it as ignorance. ]

[ What an insolent little thing you are, Rapunzel-chan. His expression grows dark. ]

Then I guess you'll never get your answer~ [ She giggles more to herself and picks up an empty bottle of conditioner that's close to her feet. Actually, Ciaran being here kind of makes her want to clean her room... ]

[ Does suddenly his responsible presence rub off on you, little girl? He huffs as he casts some magic (it should be more than obvious that he's trying to direct himself onto something else rather than STAY CURIOUS AND FRUSTRATED), weaving himself a giant bag that looks pretty similar to Earth's Santa Claus' toy sack. Then he'll start shoving all of these bottles into it...

He is orderly and this is not order.

A mess is a mess.



A mess must be cleaned. ]

Nope. [ She picks up another bottle and puts it in Ciaran's bag thing. She doesn't seem to be making too much effort here though. ]

But I have something like it!

[elresin]

... ? [ Something like a compactor? What would that even be?? Half a compactor?! He's probably straining his eyes at this point with all the squinting so he'll relax a bit while looking into his sack--endless black. ]

What is it exactly then?

[ A small hole opens up in the ground and Rapunzel here kicks the bottles into it. It's a small hole and if you look in it, all you see is black. It's kind of like your bag there, Princey. But there's something that's a little different... ]

Put them all in here.

[elresin]

... ... ... ... [ He keeps quiet for once and actually does what she says, dumping all the contents of the bag into the small hole.

IT'S RAINING CONDITIONER, HALLELUJAH--point is, he gives the bag another shake to drop down one last bottle. Is something amazing supposed to happen now? He's literally staring down at it with much anticipation (that he is obviously trying to hide). ]
